Health Department Announces Vaccination and Screening Programme Schedule

The Health Department of the Velocity Interoperability Network today published the schedule of its first vaccination and screening programmes. Four programmes begin between 14 September and 5 October 2026: routine vaccinations for staff and citizens, a travel health programme for staff travelling on Network duties and for travellers to the Network, occupational screening for staff whose duties carry specified health requirements, and the seasonal influenza programme.

Routine vaccination sessions begin on 14 September 2026 and are held weekly at every clinic. Travel health consultations are by appointment. Occupational screening sessions begin on 21 September 2026 and are held monthly. The seasonal influenza programme opens on 5 October 2026, with sessions twice weekly at every clinic.

Those eligible are identified from the Department's registration records and from returns supplied by member organisations, and invitations are sent by email. Full details of eligibility and session frequency are set out on the Vaccination and Screening Programmes page of this site.
