Statistics
The Health Department of the Velocity Interoperability Network publishes statistics on the services it provides: clinic attendances, vaccinations, occupational health assessments, emergency call-outs and the capacity of its clinics. This first release covers the transition period from 10 August to 5 September 2026, during which member organisations transferred their health functions to the Department, and records the position at establishment on 6 September 2026.
The figures are drawn from returns supplied by member organisations, from clinic records kept under the interim arrangements, and from the Department's registration records. Figures for the transition period are provisional and will be revised in later releases where late returns are received.
The position at establishment. The figures below record the Department at the point of establishment.
- 18,400
- Staff and citizens registered for the Department's services at establishment
- 6
- Clinics opening at the principal sites between 7 and 11 September 2026
- 2,150
- Vaccination appointments scheduled for September 2026
- 312
- Occupational health assessments completed during the transition
Of the 18,400 registered at establishment, 15,600 are staff of member organisations and 2,800 are citizens of the Network. Registration continued throughout the transition period as member organisations transferred their staff records; citizens register directly with the Department. Allowing for dependants recorded against staff registrations, the population the Department serves is estimated at 21,300.
Activity during the transition. Before the Department's clinics opened, services continued under interim arrangements at the principal sites. The activity recorded under those arrangements is shown below.
| Service | 10 to 23 August | 24 August to 5 September | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clinic consultations | 1,284 | 1,431 | 2,715 |
| Vaccinations administered | 583 | 623 | 1,206 |
| Occupational health assessments | 141 | 171 | 312 |
| Emergency call-outs attended | 67 | 81 | 148 |
| Repeat prescriptions issued | 1,902 | 1,968 | 3,870 |
The rise in consultations between the two halves of the period reflects the completion of staff registration and the publication of clinic opening arrangements. Emergency call-outs were attended by site responders under the interim arrangements and are included here so that the series is continuous with the Department's own reporting.

- 648

- 34
- Emergency first responders trained and on duty at Network sites
- 4
- Vaccination and screening programmes commencing by 5 October 2026
- 91%
- Registered members whose health record was digitised in the transition
