Health Department Publishes First Statistical Release

The Health Department of the Velocity Interoperability Network today published its first statistical release. The release covers the transition period from 10 August to 5 September 2026, during which member organisations transferred their health functions to the Department, and records the position at establishment on 6 September 2026.

At establishment, 18,400 staff of member organisations and citizens of the Network were registered for the Department's services. During the transition period, 2,715 clinic consultations were recorded under interim arrangements, together with 1,206 vaccinations, 312 occupational health assessments, 148 emergency call-outs and 3,870 repeat prescriptions issued.

The Department will publish statistics quarterly. The next release, covering the quarter ending 30 September 2026, will be published in October. The full release, including activity by service and planned clinic capacity, is set out on the Statistics page of this site.
